Our Day Centre
The centre is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank and Public holidays) and has a full time manager, caring and catering staff. We aim to give our members a break from their own homes, and day respite for their carers, whether immediate family, relations or professionals, who can be confident that their dependants are being well looked after in a caring and professional environment.
As a Charity we subsidise costs where we can. Our current charges are:
• Annual Membership: £20
• Two Course Meal: £7.50
• Day Charge from £43 - £65 (depending on care requirements)

What We Offer...
The Centre provides a very pleasant location near the town centre for the use of the older residents of Wokingham and surrounding area.
We have a professional team of fully qualified care staff who provide hands on personal care and ensure all members' needs are met.
We provide a substantial, healthy freshly cooked two course midday meal, morning and afternoon refreshments. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropody and hairdressing services are also available.
Outside our beautiful Grade II listed building with its large conservatory, we have a patio area and sweeping gardens with lawns, where members and their guests can relax and enjoy the atmosphere or play outdoor games.
Getting Here...
We run two minibuses, with salaried drivers, to bring in members from the Borough on a daily basis, at a low cost. These minibuses have rear lifting platforms and are equipped to take wheelchairs, perfect for those with limited mobility who are not able to make their own way to the centre.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is available on site through our collaboration with Therapies on Thames. One-to-one sessions can be booked and group exercise class sessions take place on Friday mornings at the Day Centre.
Chiropody
A chiropodist visits the Day Centre two or three times a month and appointments can be booked in advance through the Wade office by calling 0118 978 7025.
Hair
A hairdresser is available on site every Thursday offering cut, set and blow-dries. Appointments can be booked in advance through the Wade Office by calling 0118 978 7025.
